Nintendo has announced that Princess Peach: Showtime will be available on the Nintendo Switch starting on Friday, March 22, 2024.
In June 2023, a Princess Peach game without a name was hinted at; however, in September of the same year, Nintendo formally announced the game’s new name and release window.
It’s probably going to be one of the Nintendo Switch’s final big releases, as many people anticipate the introduction of the system’s replacement in 2024.

Which systems and consoles are compatible with Princess Peach: Showtime?
Only the Nintendo Switch system is able to access Princess Peach: Showtime. This indicates that in order to play the game, you will need a Nintendo Switch, a Nintendo Switch Lite, or a Nintendo Switch OLED. This game will only be available on Nintendo home systems because it is a first-party title.

In a press statement issued in September, Nintendo revealed facts about the game, including the fact that “gameplay changes depending on Peach’s role.” This alludes to the several personas Peach will take on, including Detective Peach, Kung Fu Peach, Swordfighter Peach, and Patisserie Peach.
This leads us to believe that it will have some kind of mini-game, sword combat, and puzzles. It will also be available for 2D and 3D gaming.
The plot is summarised by Nintendo as follows: “The evil Grape and the Sour Bunch seize front stage to raise a disturbance just as Princess Peach and her entourage of Toads are watching a concert at the Sparkle Theatre. The play must now be saved, as well as the day, by Peach and Stella, the theater’s protectors.”
We’re glad that Bowser and the Sour Bunch are new antagonists in the Mario universe since otherwise, this would have been Bowser’s hundredth kidnapping.
