What does Genshin Impact’s Genius Invokation TCG stand for?
Better than a massive role-playing game? An in-game card game with a theme that can be played! This year saw the release of the Tableturf Battle TCG by Splatoon 3, Gwent by The Witcher, and now the Genius Invokation TCG by Genshin Impact, following suit.

Genius Invokation TCG: What is it?
A card game with cards based on Genshin Impact characters, monsters, and artefacts is the much anticipated new game mode.

Genius Invokation TCG gameplay
Although the concept hasn’t been officially explained, it appears to follow the traditional card game format, in which two players attempt to outwit one another by attacking one other with cards in their hands. The first person whose cards are eliminated loses.
The prizes that victors receive and the process for obtaining new cards are still unknown, but they will become clear over time.

Character and Action cards can be used to build decks, and each round will start with the drawing of two new cards. Thirty Action cards and three Character cards make up a deck of 33 cards. A staggering 92 Action cards are available, with a selection of 27 Characters.
Every game will start with the players rolling eight Elemental Dice. At this point, you can reroll the dice once. Every dice set includes all seven elements as well as an Omni-Element side that essentially allows players to choose whatever element to play with.
The Stage of Action
In order to use their Skill Cards, players must spend Elemental Dice in this area. As the attacker, your active character will strike the active character of the opposition. You can use one Elemental Dice to swap your Active.
Your objective is to eliminate your opponent by reducing each of their three active cards from 10 HP to 0 HP. Play cards by spending matching Elemental Dice to accomplish this.

Which cards are included in the TCG for Genius Invokation?
Based on the brief gameplay preview shown during the Version 3.1 update live, it appears that the boss and playable character cards serve as the primary battle cards. Boss opponents and 5-star characters both have three diamonds on the side of the card, but 4-star characters only have two.
In the trailer, a group consisting of Keqing, Diluc, and Kamisato Ayaka is up against Mona, Xingqiu, and the Oceanid opponent.
Additionally, it looks that support cards are being employed on either side of the primary battle cards. Right now, we don’t know what their purpose is.
